Possibility Vs Probability Thinking: The Fight Between Average and Exceptional
In my business mastermind group we are doing a study of Napolean Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”. One of the first ideas he talks about is, thoughts are things, and words have power.
So I decided to do a series on this subject matter and discuss limiting beliefs and language that are holding so many of us back from achieving what we want in life. As well as the thoughts and language that achieves use.
Steps To Living In The Possibility Mindset
1) Become crystal clear at what it is you want.
2) Find a mentor who has already achieved what you want.
3) Become a student and study what they did.
4) Take action and massive action at that.
5) Be committed to the process and never quite

If Your Desire Has Never Been Done Before
One thing that history has proven is that the mere fact that something has never been done before in no way mandates that it never will be done. Every great deed was once done for the first time and the person who accomplished it will always be remembered. Here are a couple of examples:
Roger Banister: The first man to run a four minute mile. Before he succeeded is was accepted wisdom that the heart would explode if someone ran that fast. Since Roger proved it possible, thousands of people had accomplished the same feat, but Roger Banister will always been known as the first.
The Wright Brothers: You know the story they were the first to create flight. Nobody thought it could be done, but when their invention lifted off the ground for mere seconds it ushered in a possibility mindset that has revolutionized the world.
Christopher Columbus: While prevailing beliefs, at the time, that the earth was flat, Columbus convinced the Queen a boat full of sailor to set out and find a quicker trade route to China. While he failed in that, he is credited for discovering “The New World” and showing the earth was a sphere.
These are just a few examples of numerous stories that I could of used. If you choose to go down this path, know it will be difficult, know it will be worth it and know The Three Stages of Truth, yes what you seek is truth. The truth that something is possible.
According to German Philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, all truth goes through three stages:
2) Violent opposition
3) Acceptance as self evident
